AC Shadows Unveils Surprising Attack on Titan Crossover for Thanksgiving
In a surprising partnership that challenges usual expectations, Ubisoft has revealed an virtual partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, providing complimentary additional story content for Shadows players.
Strange Adventure Disclosed
According to the official announcement, "A mysterious meeting leads characters Naoe and Yasuke into a original mission, where whispers of banned ceremonies and fearsome changes echo through the obscurity." The narrative introduces a "unusually attired woman named Ada" who charges the pair with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her ally from a hidden cult.
The adventure concentrates on "bizarre trials and a fearsome foe" and is open to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Iconic Settings and Changes
The teaser highlights the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This important location was formerly where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The trailer concludes with a powerful moment showing a character, likely the hostage, morphing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
Unique Prizes and Bonus Features
Players who finish the quest will obtain an special katana alongside numerous objects hidden throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also includes in-store Attack on Titan item packs, including:
- Titan-inspired attire for Yasuke
- Mikasa outfit for Naoe

Newest Free Story Addition
This release also adds the game's third no-cost story episode, titled "The Mystery."
