Defiant Celtic's manager does not fear the sack however the Parkhead faithful show wrath following derby defeat.
The Celtic boss declared he had no concerns about dismissal, maintaining, “The team is really close to a turnaround,” despite moving dangerously close to the chopping block with a comprehensive loss to the Ibrox side.
A Second-Half Meltdown Sees Old Firm Loss
Celtic were in front Rangers at the interval but a disastrous second period allowed Danny Röhl’s team to move level on points with the current Scottish Premiership champions. The French coach, who was appointed from Columbus Crew, has now presided over six setbacks in eight fixtures.

Fan Fury Erupts

“The standard we had at certain moments was of top quality. That is a fact. And I would not talk like that if it was different. That is the reason, when it comes to wins, I mentioned it's a repeating pattern. Which is why I feel a change is coming to a shift in fortunes. Currently: the fine margins.”
“I saw plenty of positives that we did, like today again. But now is performing for 90 minutes. My message would be different if it was not the case. Therefore I am a big believer we will manage to turn things around.”
The Rangers Boss Stance
Danny Röhl refused to contemplate a championship push even after what seemed like a statement victory. “One match at a time, so we can develop momentum,” he said. “The faith in the squad is outstanding.”
