Ex- Physician Faces Sexual Assault Allegations Involving Thirty-Eight Individuals in His Care
Legal authorities have stated that a former doctor stands accused of performing assaults involving 38 individuals who were patients.
Details of the Grave Charges
Nathaniel Spencer from Birmingham has been charged with dozens of acts of sexual assault – including acts against minors under the age of thirteen – between 2017 to 2021.
One deputy chief prosecutor commented, “Legal teams have diligently worked to assist a thorough and intricate police inquiry, meticulously examining the evidence to determine that there is sufficient evidence to bring the case to trial and that it is in the interest of justice.”
Scope of the Police Inquiry
The charges follow what investigators called a “detailed inquiry” into alleged assaults at medical facilities: a hospital in Stoke-on-Trent and Russells Hall hospital.
Spencer will appear at the local magistrates' court on 20 January.

- Fifteen counts of assault.
- 17 counts of penetrative assault.
