The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-round fight which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the two fighters met personally to promote the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former twice unified boxing king Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive disparity - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I'm going to damage his features and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Civil Exchange
In spite of those words, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually known for his theatrics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, targeted UK opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Still, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's biggest commercial attractions, regularly earning massive paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in rounds four or five and stated he would prevent the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.
"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
Size Difference
As the two fighters met for the usual face-off, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it emphasized just how surprising this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is really proceeding.
