Performer Rejects Anti-Vaxxer Stance After Lending His Voice To Controversial Pandemic Feature

Liam Neeson has lent his voice to a recent film that casts doubt on the legitimacy of vaccinations and commends one-time health official RFK Jr.

The Feature's Provocative Foundation

Named "Plague of Corruption," the documentary is adapted from a well-known publication published by a controversial scientist, who became famous during the pandemic for allegations that Covid was caused by a faulty batch of the seasonal immunization.

The book's co-author, the executive producer, has penned books with far-right media personality Alex Jones. The producer wrote online celebrating Neeson's involvement in the project.

A Firm Denial

A spokesperson for the actor have released a statement strongly denying suggestions that he supports anti-immunization beliefs.

"Many recognize that misconduct may occur within the drug industry, but that cannot be equated to rejection of vaccines," the statement reads. "He has never been, and is not, anti-vaccination. His considerable work with the global charity highlights his long-held support for global immunisation initiatives."

The response continued that the actor had no hand in the documentary's messaging and that inquiries about its assertions should be directed to the producers.

Major Assertions In the Feature

According to the documentary, the voiceover read by Neeson features several provocative statements:

  • It claims that pro-immunization voices have demanded "unconditional submission" to government bodies.
  • It argues that "research has become dangerously politicized."
  • Kennedy is shown saying, "The major issue with vaccines is that they just aren't adequately tested."
  • The film also criticizes stay-at-home orders, arguing they caused mental anguish that cost thousands of lives.
  • Regarding pandemic shots, it references a view that they were "rushed to market" and seen as "risky trials."

Historical Background and Current Disputes

The film further cites a past television report about AIDS medication trials on children, which was subsequently the subject of a correction by the corporation for unbalanced reporting.

In recent weeks, the political figure directed the national health agency to change its official position that there is no connection between immunizations and autism. This assertion is also referenced in the documentary, contrary to a new report from the World Health Organisation confirming no connection has been found.

A Past Position of Support

Standing in contrast to the film's tone, Neeson has previously expressed strong support for vaccines in his capacity as a UNICEF goodwill ambassador.

Previously, he referred to vaccines as "an extraordinary achievement," stating that "The discourse about vaccines in recent years has overlooked how much good they have done... It is perhaps one of the biggest human endeavors in history."

The documentary ends with Neeson's narration proclaiming, "This is not the conclusion of our narrative. Rather, it is the start of a fresh chapter."
